Buoyant Swimming & Aquatics started as Sue Pryor Swimming in 1991 by Sue and David Pryor. It evolved from Sue’s love of sport as they found a need in the local community for a hydrotherapy pool and a space where children could learn to swim all year round.
After growing and changing the pool and facility for over 30 years it was time to move on. In August of 2023 Sue and David sold the pool and business to Kimberley and Alastair Falland. Kimberley had been working at SPS for about a year and their three children all had lessons over the years.
Kimberley’s passion is in disability and helping those who live in our disability community in Strathalbyn and surrounding areas. Her an aim is to grow and improve the accessibility of the facility, while also still concentrating on Sue’s passion for water safety and children’s lessons.
